With Memorial Day and its parades, honors and services behind us, we unofficially enter the summer season – a time that many call the best time of the year. For a little more than three months, things slow down to a much easier pace. With some extra time, what are you going to do this summer?

May I humbly suggest that you do something for yourself? This doesn’t have to be something “selfish.” (Though, you HAVE had your eye on that new camera, and you DO deserve a long weekend away.) Why not start or finish-up your professional certification? It’s never too late to get started, and if you get your materials now, you might be ready to join a study group this fall … and if you test and fulfill all the other requirements by December 7th, we’ll be sure that you start 2013 as a certified professional.

As a bonus, if you start your CTA or CTC studies between now and Labor Day, you will get 97-days of Basic Membership. With all this extra summer time, that gives you more time to take advantage of everything that thousands of people are already enjoying. If you are currently a member and you start the path to certification, we will add 97-days to your current renewal/expiration date.

We here at The Travel Institute are taking advantage of the slower pace ourselves, and over the next month or so, you will start to see some changes or upgrades on our website and in our members-only area. Our new members-only area will have a new look with easier access to all you have come to enjoy – the webinars and archives for example. Eventually all the courses you have taken with us and your certifications will be in once convenient place. The look of the members-only area will extend to our website so everyone can enjoy the fresh look.
