Tourism Cares is best known for its work in rescuing and preserving tourism experiences around the world that may have been left to decay and eventually be lost forever. Generous industry support and participation has made a significant impact on numerous sites.
Along with these restoration initiatives, Tourism Cares also provides support for workforce development within the industry benefiting those studying to enter or already working in the industry. By providing annual scholarships, coordinating internships, pairing mentors, organizing networking events and offering volunteering opportunities, Tourism Cares is helping to develop the next generation of travel and tourism professionals.
The Travel Institute is proud to have its entry-level TRIPKit and professional certifications (CTA, CTC and CTIE) included in the choices for which working professionals may be able to earn scholarships. Awarded on an annual basis after a candidate’s completion of their studies, the scholarships are testimonies to the future of travel.
Visit Tourism Cares’ Student Resources Page for information on scholarships, internships, and tourism/hospitality programs for students.
